No, really, we're back.
Tonight we decided to talk bitcoin, Bitcoins, Quatloos, beanie babies, tulip bulbs and such.
We also talked some about the crisis in the Crimea.
I promised to mention Robin's blog, you should read it. You can follow Ken on twitter and me too.
Listen here, and enjoy.

I know that in a few points, characters on TNG said there was no money--but does anyone say there is no accounting system? They might just not have physical currency.
Ironically, the "libertarian" Heinlein went into great detail (in Beyond This Horizon) about an wonderful libertarian-ish future where everyone just got money every month and didn't have to work--but of course, worked anyway, because it's fun. Or something. (All men were armed, too, and shootings were a private matter, and of no interest of the authorities.)
(Great to have y'all back!)
First, "that kid" was Aaron Schwartz, and he was an incredibly bright, promising young man whose life was snuffed out way too early. I had the pleasure of talking with him briefly at code4lib 2008; his loss still stings.
Otherwise, many fine topics of discussion; it was great to see you all back in fine form! Like Robin, I occasionally wonder about the wisdom of putting forth such raw opinion on the public Internets and the potential impact on one's professional image, but am happy that you do!
Good to have you-all back!
I've been refering to bitcoin as KongBucks (of Mr. Lee's Greater Hong Kong) for a while now, because they seem to me a solution looking for a problem. But you can quote me Snowcrash anytime you feel the need!
And yes, Robin's blog got a few more hits from the five or six of us who insist that email is dead! Long live email!
Now, if you could maybe post another podcast in less than two years, that'd be great...

Dan, yeah I swear I can't believe I couldn't remember his name.
Jim, if I could convince the boys to get together more often I would.....
